University of the Free State Admission Requirements

General Minimum Admission Requirements:

A National Senior Certificate (NSC) or National Certificate: Vocational (NCV) Level 4, or an AP (Admission Point) score of 18 – 24 for admission to a Bachelor’s Degree program.
Four subjects passed at level 3 (40%–49%).
Proficiency in the language of instruction at level 3 (40%) for all program options.

- Mathematics is not a requirement for this option. Candidates are eligible to pursue this route without a mathematics background.
- Note: It’s important to be aware that once enrolled in the Administration route, changing to a Commerce program will not be permitted.
